ABOUT ME

My name is Alexi, and I am a Registered Nurse in Ottawa, Ontario. Having always been interested in health care, I completed a cooperative credit program at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. I spent three consecutive summers volunteering at local hospitals while working towards my Bilingual High School Certificate. These experiences solidified my choice of pursuing a career in nursing. After graduating from The University of Ottawa with a BScN, I found my passion for working in cardiac care and aesthetic nursing. I have since completed the Critical Care Course through Durham College, the Perioperative Certificate through Loyalist College, and multiple certificates for Cosmetic Injections. I work both in the Catheterization Lab at the Ottawa Heart Institute and as an Aesthetic nurse at You Derma. My decision to pursue graduate studies in Nursing is to one day move into a managerial role in my current workplace. When not working, I enjoy hiking with my German Shepherd and attending as many concerts as possible.
